OUR
FOUNDATION
Intermetalink was founded in 1986 by Joe Barazin. From selling boxes of nails out of the back of his car trunk in Halifax to negotiating with post-Soviet era steel mill bosses in Ukraine, Joe has forged his way into the steel industry throughout Canada for the past 40 years.
In 2011 Matthew Barazin joined Joe at Intermetalink. Together they have built the business into a premier steel distribution house which focuses on customer service,providing data and transparent information to help decision makers buy steel.
Intermetalink has actively supplied distributors of import steel in Canada and the United States ever since. We value our commitments to our customers and our supply partners.
